The process for getting new homes built is currently long and convoluted. For low-rise infill housing, this process needs to be streamlined to allow new housing to get built quickly where it respects the existing character of neighbourhoods, and compliments the immense heritage our city is lucky to possess. Together, we can also implement policies that incentivize or mandate dedicated affordable units in new developments.
